There is plenty of interesting content awaiting your discovery in the newly renovated lands of the World of Warcraft, since Azeroth has been largely reshaped by Deathwing’s coming and the devastation it brought. Leveling as a warlock in World of Warcraft is fairly swift, thanks to the high damage that the class is capable of – though this is somewhat counterbalanced by the fact that the class can only wear cloth armor, and is thus, in the parlance of the game, classified as “squishy”. The use of summoned demon pets for tanking is one way to offset this problem, as is skillful use of fear-based abilities to keep enemies at arm’s length. This latter technique has the disadvantage of possibly drawing extra creatures into the fight, however. Warlocks are fairly resilient and interesting to play, as long as you make the most of their unique abilities. Hotkey the Healthstone so that you will not need to sift desperately through your character’s packs while some creature pummels them nearer and nearer to death. Healthstones are best used when you are not quite desperate yet, since at that point, the stone is unlikely to swing the fight in your character’s favor, but just make it more likely that they can escape. If the worst happens, then a Soulstone can save your character a graveyard run – although you should check to see if any enemies are wandering nearby before resurrecting.

Life Tap is a good way to keep your warlock moving rapidly through content. This spell converts life into mana, allowing your warlock to “mana up” quickly after a fight – or even during one, when mana begins to run low. Taking the First Aid secondary profession is a perfect compliment to the Life Tap spell. Rapid mana regeneration, followed by rapid healing (both of which can be carried out while the character is “in combat”), can be used effectively while the warlock’s pet tanks for them.
Race makes fairly little difference in the performance of this class, as any WoW warlock leveling guide will tell you. Faction can make a difference if you want to PvP with your warlock, since the Horde has a considerable mechanical advantage in player versus player action, but the specific race is immaterial.

Affliction, demonology, and destruction, the three warlock talent specializations, are all fairly viable as leveling specs, though demonology is slightly in advance of the other two. This is because it provides the Felguard – a high-damage, moderately good at tanking demon unique to the spec – and reinforces the abilities of the other demons as well. Just as with a Beast Mastery hunter, making the warlock’s pet better able to tank and kill opponents speeds the warlock’s leveling overall.

Opening moves are always important for a rogue, since they are the only class that approaches a foe in stealth most of the time and usually leave stealth with an attack. An assassination rogue’s opening moves should not be based on either Ambush or Backstab despite the spec’s use of daggers, because of the mechanical nature of an assassination rogue’s powers.

Garrote is the best opening move for an assassination rogue, but if this impractical, then you can opt to have your character open the fight with Mutilate instead. Basically, your character should not spend a long time trying to set up for a Garrote. If it is proving difficult to use the attack, then you will lose more damage by wasting time trying to get in position for it than you will gain by using it, and should employ Mutilate instead for the sake of speed. This is especially true in dungeons and raids.

Build some quick combo points after using Garrote (or Mutilate), then apply Rupture and get Slice and Dice active as fast as you can. Once your character is in combat, use Mutilate and Sinister Strike as your main moves, and reapply Rupture whenever it is about to stop ticking. Use Envenom, which burns Deadly Poison applications for a spike of burst damage, whenever there are five combo points on your adversary. Hopefully, your energy will be high at this point so that you can follow up with Mutilate, but this is not absolutely necessary.

Assassination rogues should use daggers to allow the use of Mutilate, and should have a slow dagger in the main hand and a fast one in the offhand. Poison the main hand weapon with Instant Poison and the offhand weapon with Deadly Poison for best effect. Putting a single talent point into Deadly Brew gives you a 50% chance of applying Crippling Poison every time your Instant Poison hits, which will remove the need for using Crippling Poison separately.

Balance druids can now shapeshift into their signature form, that of a Moonkin, at level 29, gaining a boost to spell damage and a reduction to incoming damage that increases both survivability and deadliness.
Feral druids are the melee specialization of the druid class. Fury warriors are the damage per second (DPS) talent specialization of warriors in World of Warcraft, though unlike other classes’ DPS specs, they are paradoxically poor in battlegrounds unless they are both highly geared and played with extreme skill. Today, Warcraft fans finally got the official news from Blizzard about the next WOW expansion to be released. The BlizzCon Panel was an hour and a half long and the World of Warcraft team went into more detail on the new zones, playable race, new class, and exciting new features of the game’s next expansion. • New playable race – The Pandaren. The first class to be a neutral race. Once players reach level 10 they will be able to decide if they want to align with the Alliance or Horde faction.
• New class – The Monk which will focus on the ways of ancient martial arts.
  • Includes the Brewmaster (tank), the mistweaver (healer), and Windwalker (melee DPS). The Goblins and Worgen are the only races that cannot be monks.
  • New Level cap of 90

• Six new dungeons.
